For years, I balanced the full-time demands of being a nurse, business owner, and mother — all while becoming the primary caregiver for my father as he battled dementia.
There were days filled with love and laughter. There were days filled with hard decisions, exhaustion, and deep worry.
There were even days I had to disable his truck because he was determined to drive when it was no longer safe. (Yes — even tried to make it to the store on his riding lawn mower!)
As my personal caregiving journey unfolded, I realized how few people feel prepared for this season of life — whether they’re caregivers, adult children, leaders, or professionals managing teams of people walking through personal storms.
I took that realization and built Caring Hands Home Health, Inc. — my home care agency dedicated to helping seniors age in place with dignity, compassion, and the kind of personalized care every family deserves.
And yet my work didn’t stop there.
I saw the need for caregivers and leaders everywhere to have the tools, mindset, and support to navigate life’s toughest seasons — with grace, humor, and actionable wisdom.

I work hard — but I don’t grind myself into exhaustion. I pursue my calling with discipline, but I protect my peace fiercely. True strength is knowing when to push and when to pause. I am here to shine, not burn out.
I lead with compassion, but I speak with clarity. I say the hard things with love because healing lives in truth. I shift rooms, I shift mindsets, and I shift hearts — not by playing small, but by standing firmly in who I am called to be.
My faith is my foundation. My purpose is God-given. No matter what storms I face, I hold fast to hope. The best isn’t behind me — it’s still unfolding. I believe in breakthrough, in better days, and in the limitless possibilities still ahead.
